I think that's why we're still trying so desperately to get back to some sort of normalcy. Four years later and we're still on the ground, crawling, in search of the happiness that was lost that June. Summers will never be the same. Midnight walks through my neighborhood will never be the same. Field parties with bonfires and loud music will never be the same. I still don't know why you left and what lead you to the decision you made. What I do know is that we're here. We're alive and we're pushing forward to the future. A future that you're not a part of. She ran away from the town she grew up in when she was 15, trying to escape scientists who wanted to use the special spark inside of her and perform tests that would transform her into what they believed could be used as a governmental weapon. Lyric and Troy instantly find a familiarity in each other that comforted them..they quickly fall into friendship which then quickly develops into what you might call love. He fell head over heels for her without any control, now he has to deal with the consequences of falling in love with his absolute best friend with a boyfriend, and not being able to have her. Little did Lyric know that the man that became her best friend who taught her how to trust again would also be the one to coax her heart back open.

I noticed Brandon who just had his eyes popped out of his socket with bewilderment at my words. I decided to peck him on the cheek before I storm out of the locker room. I leaned ahead to peck Brandon who moved his face in my direction and instead of his cheeks, our lips crashed. Brushing against each other, our lips touched. I could feel fireworks exploding inside my entire body.
