Astra, a female wolf-dog lives a life of an outsider of Nome, Alaska. But she was cared by her foster parents, Balto, Jenna, Uncle Boris, Auntie Stella polar bears, Muk and Luk, and Balto and Jemma's pups: Elska, Kodie, Saba, Dingo, and Lupus.
But when she and Balto raced to get medicine for Viral bronchitis, Astra had to accept her mixed heritage of being a half wolf and half dog. But when she learned that Duke got lost. So she, Balto, and her friends went to help the plane driver, Duke who got lost in the snowy mountains in a plane while trying to get the medicine in a blizzard.
