For a long time, humanity pursued a greater understanding of energy. What is it? How can it change our lives? Why does it exist?

All the questions asked about this force of nature are nearly equal to the questions we ask abot ourselves. What are we? Where did we come from? What is the meaning of life? The answer to those of energy may be tied to those of humankind in fascinating ways.

"It has been about... a very long time since I appeared. Birth may not be the word for it, since nobody originated me - I think. Nothing other than existence was ever given to me, and so I created. In order to beat the loneliness of my solo life (if I can call it that way) I created beings. Things to manifestate myself through. Things to watch. Things to learn from. Out of these things, although my favorites are bunnies (such adorable creatures!) I must give credit to humans, who developed speaking and who named me: Energy."

What if I told you that the things from our stories an Book 1d myths are 100% real and I have to save them? Crazy right? Trust me I know but it's true no matter how much I wish it wasn't. I thought I was just a normal 21 year old girl... Weeks after my classes let out I found out that had never been true. I had never been normal, I'd just been hidden away from the world, the real me hidden from even myself to keep me safe but more importantly alive so I could defeat the FIRST, the original, the one that made all other supernatural things, fantastic right? Hardly... I Tana Záchranca drew the short end of the stick in life. This is the me telling you the beginning of the end of my life...well kinda, there's betrayal, fighting, torture, death, love, supernatural creatures, and adventure, and I'd give it all up to be able to go back to my old life, but the last year has made it impossible for me to ever permanently return to my family...to anything. I'm of both worlds, human and Mythical, and belong in neither... I try to make all my chapters 3000 words or more and I will upload at least twice a week if not more

That's what I am to them, to the government. Roach; the nameless monster with electricity for a sense and lightening as a second nature. It ruined my life, the sparking currents playing tag in my mind, running around and bumping into everything, shaking me loose. The government, actually. They ruined my life. My curse just gave them a reason. You see, the normal population with ordinary DNA, they don't know about the people like me. The roaches of the world. We don't get that kind of recognition at the camps. There, we are only one thing in the military's eyes. We are weapons and we will act like it. Everyone else out there, bathing in the goodness they don't know they've got, they don't know about the roaches their stepping on. As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise.
