Adeline is a normal teen.

There is a catch, however. She isn't a normal human. She is the daughter of a vampire, able to turn more easily than a normal human. When she is attacked by her step father to bring her to the darkness like him and his brother, her brother intervenes, revealing himself as a vampire hunter and taking her to a training facility, where she learns to see the grey rather than the human black and white, also learning magick in the process and how to use it to hunt the true evils: the vampires who have given in to their darkness and now hunt indiscriminately, preying on humans no matter who they are or what they have done.

But when Adeline is taken and changed into a vampire herself by the infamous vampire known only as Vladimir Dracul, son of the fabled Count Dracula and Mina Harker, she finds herself struggling to hold on to her humanity.

Will Adeline hold back the darkness? Or like the others, will she fail?
