What happens when the sun refuses to rise?

The dark days, oh the dark days. The whole dimension will be in complete darkness.

"So you're saying, whoever controls the amulets controls the sun?" Mouka asked.

###

After so many years, Alice Crawley discovers she's no ordinary spell binder as she trains with the Malone triplets, Andrew, Alex and Asher. Everything was perfectly normal.

Well as normal as it could get until her best friend, Matthew, opens a book leading to a series of 'events'.

Together they venture from Bulio to Inex, Inex to Aanki, Aanki to Cantatrix, on a mission in search for Matthew's long lost father.

But it seems like that's not the only mission they bargained for.

Someone is stopping the sun from rising. Asher Malone is loosing his powers, Matt's becoming a threat and Alice still can't create a time loop. No body knows where the man in pyjamas has disappeared to.

Will they be able to find Matt's father?

Will Alice have that normal life she always wanted?

And who's the man in the hooded cloak?

Beware, nine lives to spare!

Niccola is a demi-queen undercover in enemy territory. Her little sister went missing seven moons ago, but one lead remains: a picture of a woman's face, drawn by a diviner shortly after the disappearance. Tracking her down has led Niccola to Calis, the realm next door whose border with her own remains closed for a reason. There, the trail goes cold. Until, that is, Niccola runs into a man in the marketplace who bears a family resemblance to the woman she seeks. His name is Isaiah, crown prince of Calis, and he's investigating disappearances, too. They join forces, faking courtship to sneak Niccola into the palace and get Isaiah's wedding-minded mother off his back. It doesn't take long to suspect that a common threat might underpin both their realms' problems. And as Niccola begins to develop real feelings for Isaiah, she's faced with an impossible choice: reveal her secrets and risk breaking his trust, or leave him in order to chase down the woman who stole her sister... a woman whose forbidden magic comes with a cost that could bring both realms to ruin. ❖❖❖ Complete and fully edited. Thank you for reading, and I hope you enjoy! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Have you ever seen the yin yang? The two swirls intertwining, yet never blending? Somehow, it's so tranquilizing, so beautiful. Polar opposites working together to create harmony and beauty. There is no grey line, there is no mixture, there just is. Yin cannot be without yang, and yang cannot be without yin. Whether a universe... or a person. Enter Y/N L/N. She's troubled by a haunted past, old ghosts dragging her back. Striving to outrun memories, she moves to London with a scholarship to Queen Mary University. Rapidly running out of luck, she stumbles upon an old bookshop, the only peaceful place in the entire city. You already know who owns it... Don't you? Sacrifice and loss, disappointment and regret. Growth and rebirth, kindness and love. It all balances out. Something lost, something gained. Will Y/N and her two slightly suspicious new friends make it out unscathed? Doubtful. But what's a story without pain?

Once upon a time, in a small Carolina border town, there lived a woman and her dead best friend's kids. Orphaned at fifteen, Mackenzie Temple can't exactly fly under the radar. People still whisper about those poor children that deceased, alcoholic mother left behind. To make sure her new surrogate parent doesn't regret her decision, Mackenzie sticks to two simple rules: Head down. Grades up. But when an evening of rule bending kicks off a chain of unfortunate events, Mackenzie's carefully constructed world begins to unravel. And that mysterious mountain boy isn't making things any easier. Meanwhile, her strange Art History class taught by even stranger teachers embarks on a field trip, taking the concept of strange to a whole new level. Was learning how to track evil creatures even on the course syllabus? With chunks of memories missing, Mackenzie's world falls deeper into chaos. For her little brother's sake, she can no longer hide behind her books. Facing enemies, old and new, she must act or lose the very thing she's tried so hard to protect. Secrets must be kept. Lies must be told. Monsters must be stopped.
