One dark autumn night, a young boy by the name of Laurence Zvahl disappeared in the quiet town of Phoenix Drop.

Local authorities insisted that probably just ran away, but his three close friends weren't as convinced. Despite being told to stay out of the woods until he was found, they headed out one stormy night to find their missing friend.

They instead found a young girl with a shaved head, who called herself A.
