As everyone knows The Doctor goes around saving (the british) people from dangers (mostly alien to Earth). Katemi, who also escaped from The Last Great Time War on a T. A. R. D. I. S of her own began living in the U.S to start new, avoid anything that reminded her of Gallifrey. Instead, no matter what time period she goes to, word of "The Doctor and his amazing rescues" get to her. She decides to finally take her T. A. R. D. I. S out on some Earth saving of her own.
