Life was great for Arthur, he was captain of the King's Royal Guard, he was respected by his fellow soldiers, and he and the king were very close friends... until the Day of Reckoning.

Out of nowhere, a resistance seiged the castle and overtook it within a day. The leader of the resistance captured all of the King's Royal Guard and the King himself. 

Citizens of the realm all gathered below the stage for the announcement from the new "King", whom was holding the now "old" king in chains next to the chopping block. There were mixed feelings in the crowd, but the people who yelled for their real king were bowed down instantly. That changed the mind of the people as the next events unfolded.

The New King released the chains and had his men put the real king on the block. Arthur tried to close his eyes but they were forced open and he watched the executioner raise the 10 foot long axe above him head, and slam it down, the head dropping into the blood-soaked basket below.

There was silence.

The King was lost.

Arthur knew that if he didn't do anything fast, the Kingdom would be next.All Rights Reserved
