Addison was the aftermath of the drunken 8th grade end of school party. He robbed her of her innocence and stole her voice, never giving her the chance to speak out. The court called her a liar, and he was set free. The memory of what he did plaqued her mind, never to release her.
From then on she struggled to find her voice and was scared to talk to anyone but the dead.
Then she met a boy. She was the kind of boy she had always tried her hardest to stay away from. The source of lies and blame. He's determined by what others say. Misunderstood and dangerous.
He may be the one to find her voice.
They met and get used to each other and their awkwardness. She gets used to his attitude. He gets used to her shyness.
A school assignment is what brings the together. But he begins to ask questions. Personal questions.
Will her past continue to drag her down, or will he save her? There are mysterious ways that bring people together, but is it always for the best? Will he hurt her, like the other one did?

A Maybank and A Cameron? It's almost like a modern Romeo and Juliet. It's forbidden for them to be together. Could be the end of the world. The stolen glances, the hidden feelings, the unspoken words, the secret meetings and the obvious hatred towards each other followed by constant conflicts and some hidden past that threatened them but there are always invisible strings tied and pulling them together no matter how hard the tides trying to pull and part them away from each other.
