As Emily and Jake set out on a road trip in attempts to lessen the strain they have on their relationship, Jake seems to add a little more when he invites his cousin Kelsey and her friend Kimmy to tag along. Not liking the way Kimmy and Jake are with one another, they later on during the trip pick up a guy named Luke along the way and in return he offers them free accommodation at his father's cabins he rents out to back packers, the cosy cabins situated on a beautiful bit of land even Emily can't resist. Not to mention the girl's weird behaviour on the matter, she soon finds that Kelsey's hiding something after practically dragging it out of her, and it doesn't take her long to work out she's been ditched by all three of them and left stranded. Soon she discovers Jake's ignoring her calls when multiple attempts to try to contact him end up going unanswered and for things to start unravelling, the person who had been there for her during the messy breakup with Jake, no longer a shoulder for her to lean on.
