In hopes of promoting the good of the many, the Security and Surveillance Corp. has enabled the access of every memory and labeled them as the property of the government. Only the elite, political leaders and royalty or anyone of the upper class can afford the steep cost to keep possession of their memories.
In the event of any thought deemed illegal, threatening, or potentially hazardous to a person or people can be confiscated or revised.
Such persons will be relocated to a separate facility called the Curis.
These people are called Resets.
