For Cory Flade, his dream was to be a national leader so that he could show the Faunus are just like the humans of Remnant, yet he his a huntsman. For the aliased Gunmo, his dream was to be like his father, yet he is a huntsman. So what happened to all of these young and hopeful children that led them on this dreamless path? What's to become of their futures now that they're attending Beacon, and then what after? This band of misfits find themselves in trouble often, and after one incident, they break apart. What caused it? Who knows? Remnant- they think- doesn't stand a chance against whatever evil has forsaken them.

Title inspired by Mitmite2 Most of the Jaune Arc fanfictions I read just aren't good enough. They either make him impossibly op or he's unjustly betrayed. And too many of them give him a harem. It's getting pretty old so I decided to change that. As a child, Jaune Arc decided that he would become a huntsmen just like his hero of a great-great-grandfather. But his father can't train him after an accident and the rest of his family doesn't know how. So he tries to teach himself. Of course he's failing miserably. With his dream seemingly impossible to achieve, he decides to continue trying to train himself, but then a willing stranger comes along. What next for our wannabe hero. Only time will tell.
