Lucindelle Woods was born into a colorful world that soon turned into a black, grey, and white nightmare. Diagnosed with color blindness three days after birth, Lucy has never seen color. Growing up in a consistently drab world, she's becoming a shell of what she was supposed to be like-the happy-go-lucky, sunshiney, and vibrant baby girl she once was has disappeared and left a quiet, sarcastic, young woman with a stone-cold heart in its place. Living alone at the edge of town, next to her beloved woods, Lucy was content with her existence. When a handsome young doctors assistant comes to town and takes special interest in her case, Lucy does everything she can so he can get the heck out of her life, but slowly and steadily, he breaks down her walls so she can finally see the rainbow.
