"Is it the blood or the absence of fabric on my shirt?" I asked, obviously being sarcastic and trying to sound as grumpy and uninterested as possible. 
"Definitely a mixture." Rolling my eyes, I fit my arsenal back in the duffle bag I'm glad Kimberly made me bring.
"When are you going to let go of your feelings and give me your heart, Ametrine?" I paused and turned to him, smirking at how smart my brain suddenly is.
"There isn't enough room in my heart, but there definitely is in the trunk of my car."
