Winter

Daylight warmth is nowhere
The sun, in mourning,
But the snow is beautiful. 
A spectacle rapt in monochrome:
Subduing the growing darkness 
Descending into stillness,
Closing the days to nights;
Icy stars punctuating the skies-
Gentle and serene,
Bare and beautiful.
Life then, becomes slower, calmer 
Falling into
A kiss of slumber.

All of me, the hard parts of flesh you could never seem to love, drips down the drain. I am waiting for the day for your fingers to unscrew the pipes, dig through debris and mess, scrape your heart against the rust, just to find me, so we can go through it all over again. Here, in the pages I find myself, in the ink that writes against my flesh, I will whisper the sadness, the heartache, and the decaying for all of the unspoken. حان وقت إكمال ما توقفنا عنده، رحلة لا تزال في بدايتها.. ستضحك..ستبكي..ستؤلمك قصة أحدهم، ستتعاطف مع آخر. لكن في النهاية ستحزن على فراقهم جميعاً. في بعض الأحيان تكون إرهاقات الفراق أسوأ من الفراق نفسه، عندما تشعر بثقل الحديث حتى يقل مع الشخص الذي كان السلام بينكما يجعلك سعيدًا مبتسمًا. شعورك عندما تكون حزينًا ولا تسطيع أن تتحدث معه خوفًا من أن تكون حملًا ثقيلًا عليه.. عندما تريد أن تعبر له عن اشتياقك؛ لكنك تتراجع خشية ردوده الباردة، كيف هو شعورك وأنت الطرف الأكثر بذلاً للجهد.. لم أكن أطلب الكثير.. كل ما كنت أريده فقط هو أن يكون لي نفس الحب الذي أقدمه! كنتِ ولا زلتِ نجمة مضيئة في دربي، يزداد وجهك ويزداد حبي..مهما طال فراقنا فأنا لا أتخلى عن شيء أعتبرته مِلكاً لي.. وأنتِ أعز ممتلكاتي.
