Marinette is a bright young girl who aspires to be a famous designer but little does she know that she's the daughter of Empress Sabine and Emperor Tom Dupain of Japan. Empress Sabine gave birth to her daughter Marinette but she gives Marinette to her younger sister Bridgette Cheng. The reason for this is because Tom's older brother Thomas was planning on killing the heir to the throne. Thomas loved Sabine for so many years but she ended up choosing Tom as her husband and as her Emperor. So Sabine asked her younger sister to take her to France and raise her as her own. For her to never find out that she is of royal blood until her coronation.
