Spring Lawrence is a college history student writing a thesis on Greece. Mythology specifically. Curious about her Greek roots, she ventures through the trunk her deceased grandmother left her when she died. What she finds is a gold encrusted pomegranate that warms at her touch. Two seconds later, a very hot and very naked dark haired man appears in her living room floor. Claiming to be the mystic Hades, he swears she is his lost wife, Persephone. Of course she doesn't believe him. He offers her an deal. In exchange for her returning with him to the Underworld for six months, he will help her with her thesis.

Something like being the girl to change Persephone's future, to break the cycle of kidnapper and victim - all by passing a trial. It won't be simple, she knows, and she's not quite that eager to take it up, but from the moment she found out that she was Persephone, there was no way to back out. She should've known, however, that dealing with all powerful, immortal deities wasn't going to be easy. They've got a few secrets and personality flaws up their sleeves, and they could be deadly.
