A Destiel Christmas story where Dean stays at home to get ready for Christmas with Castiel while Sam and Jack go out on a hunt.
He looks through the pictures on his phone which brings back a memory of him and Castiel.
It's a story within a story :) It's my first fanfic! ^-^
It's mainly fluff but there is sort of a bit of smut-ish not really haha :3

Cas is no longer an angels and he's going hunting with Sam and Dean. Yay! Fun stuff. That's really it. Cas is an awkward baby in a trench coat, Dean is a bad ass mofo with a soft side, and Sam is, well, Sam. But with more sex jokes probably. This is the first fic I wrote, which was over a year and a half ago, so I apologize for that. And my tags. I really don't know where I'm going with this description, or where I was going with this story. But eyyy fluff. Super fluff. Fluffier than... something really fluffy. OH! What Makes a Hunter

What proceeds is the two of them meeting up with Sam and going on an involved hunt, over the course of which Dean and Cas slowly figure out their feelings for each other. Dean couldn't help but feel an ache in his chest every time he sees him, but he had no clue why. Castiel Novak only had two years of school left before he could finally escape the hell that is Sioux Falls High School. Every since he moved here he's had a hard time making friends. After all, being gay wasn't a good thing to be at his school. He would constantly get mentally and emotionally abused by his classmates. Two more years, he kept telling himself, and then he would graduate and get a degree in fine arts. When the new English teacher, Mr. Winchester, shows up Castiel immediately takes interest. Maybe, it was his gorgeous Emerald green eyes, or his ashy blonde hair that was always spiked up perfectly. Whatever it was, Castiel knew he would like this new teacher.
