Robyn has never been normal. She cannot understand why other girls are so obsessed with clothes, makeup, and boys, since she doesn't care about any of those. She also doesn't care about what people think of her, and never tries to impress anyone. As a sixteen year old, she is trying to navigate through highschool while maintaining her individuality and not participating in the teen ritual known as dating. Despite having mostly guy friends, she's never seen them as anything more. Until somehow something changes, and she ends up falling for the last person she ever thought she'd love -- her best friend Jeremy.

They've been best friends since birth. Now they're basically living together, falling in love, and calling each other names like it's foreplay. Leah Rhodes has always had a plan: keep her head down, survive her senior year, and try not to think about the boy she's been in love with since before she even knew what that meant. Nash Gentry has never had a plan-except making sure Leah always has a place to land. Even if that means watching her fall for someone else. Even if that means pretending he's not completely, obsessively in love with her. But when jealousy, heartbreak, and one impulsive kiss shatter the boundary between best friends and something more, they'll have to decide if love is worth the risk of losing everything they've ever known. Because they've always belonged to each other. Even if neither of them knew it yet.
