A Fable of the Seasons ✔

This is a fictional story of how the seasons came to be. Maple, the season of fall notices how gray and dull the human world is, and decides to help them. She gathers the help of the other seasons and they enter into the world.

"As he emerged from the foliage, they saw that he was about 22. He wore a sleeveless tunic made from leaves that been sewn together. He carried a wooden walking stick, and wore leather shorts. A necklace of red dyed porcupine quills hung around his neck. Sticks and ivy emerged from his red, unruly curly locks as if they grew from his head. His eyes were a piercing green, and the sun seemed to shine through them which was a contrast to his dark skin."

This is a short story that I wrote as a tribute to the beauty of nature. Please enjoy! I hope you like it!! Also, as you read, please remember how important and beautiful nature is to the human race. I think that everyone should be grateful for nature if not learn to appreciate its beauty.
