Gusto mo bang malaman ang buong katotohanan tungkol sa nakaraan ng mga magulang mo, Camille? Alam ko lahat at kailangan mo akong paniwalaan dahil iyon ang totoo."
 Napalunok si Camille. Kinabahan. Ano ang ibig sabihin ni Ace? May lihim ba ang lalaki na hindi katanggap-tanggap?
 Sa sandaling lumabas ka rito, ibig sabihin n'on hindi mo tanggap ang malaking bahagi ko. Hindi na ako magpapakita sa iyo." Humakbang ito palapit. "I've been fighting the urge to kiss you each time you're near. Ayokong pagbigyan ang sarili ko dahil hindi mo ako kilala. Madali para sa 'yong tugunin ang halik ko dahil ang magandang bahagi ko lang ang nakikita mo. Pero ngayon, gusto kong pagbigyan ang sarili ko, Camille, dahil alam kong hindi na mauulit ang sandaling ito." Kinabig ni Ace ang kanyang mukha. "Mahal kita kahit alam kong hindi ako karapat-dapat..."
 Napapikit si Camille. Gustong huminto ang oras at kalimutan ang lahat. Ilang segundong hinayaan ang sarili sa loob ng yakap ni Ace. Ang maingat na halik nito ay naging mainit at malalim. Hanggang sa magpatangay siya sa sariling damdamin kahit hindi dapat.
