Virgil doesn't want to be at home. He wants to leave really badly, but he feels that he'd hurt Roman, Thomas, Logan, and Patton if he leaves. He wants to leave, he wants to see places beyond the horizon, or at least he thinks he does.  But one day after a strange indecent, he finds his self away from home, and without his friends. Roman doesn't want to be like Remus,he wants to be a hero. Remus doesn't want to be apart from Roman,he wants to bind together again. Patton doesn't want everyone to get hurt,he wants everyone to be happy. Logan knows it's ok to not be ok but his mind keeps telling him different,why can't he fight it? Virgil wants to save Thomas and all of the sides,but he's only one person. Deceit wants to be accepted and to forgive Virgil,but how could you forgive someone who abandoned you?

Virgil is the source of Thomas's anxiety so that means he was treated differently. Patton and Logan didn't mind his presence as long as he doesn't hurt Thomas or be too harsh. Roman is a different story he didn't like Virgil as much as the others did so he'd often start the fights. What happens if he starts to find out what's wrong with the rain cloud? Will he give him mercy and apologize? Or will he suffer the harsh consequences for his actions? Romance is in the air for them both what happens next??? TRIGGER WARNING: angst, depressing thoughts, cutting, etc I will put a warning for those chapters if people don't read this but either way YOU'VE BEEN WARNED! Enjoy whatever this is.❤️💜

As the Sides help Thomas with another problem he has he gets a call on his phone from his new friend and crush Nico. They talk for a bit about Thomas spending time with Nico on his birthday. Thomas doesn't know what to choose so his sides decide to surprise him with a party and Nico being there. They just hope Thomas won't be mad that they did this to him. But when he finds out they did this for him he is very happy that they did.

Through the reveal of Remus, things between the sides have changed. Logan's advice to Thomas has been taken up by Virgil, talking to Patton and learning to grow as a side. All seemed to be going smoothly until Remus tells Roman something not so true ,and with a new dilemma facing Thomas, the sides are busting out the seems of their foundation to try and keep things together. But with a fallout between the repressed and furious feelings eating away at Virgil and Roman, a past that had never seen the light of day, and the wrath of the dark sides ready to break all that was built, the sides have to figure out a way to save all that they have. - #3 on #sanderssides 10-15-19 - I recently got into Sanders Sides and I needed to write a story with Virgil's past ASAP, I hope you enjoy it!
