She was a runner all her life in more ways than one. In love with her best friend, Meagan Anders struggles to finish her senior year in high school on a high note. All she is asking for, is for some love- something she has never experienced in all her seventeen years of life, almost eighteen. Meagan believes she is destined to an eternity of loneliness. When a new stranger arrives in her small town, the whole community is shaken by the nomad and his brothers 'uncouth' ways, disturbing the towns natural balance. Meagan, drawn to the strangers mystique, falls into his life of wildness and danger- but little does she know he holds a dark past. Conflicted of her feelings, Meagan tries to find, exactly, what it means to be in love.
