"I knew that, with them considering me family, what I would be forced to do later would only be even harder."

Roman and Virgil Sanders had been fighting for weeks, and Thomas decided to try to calm them down by sending them on a walk together in the Imagination. But on this walk, the fighting pair is attacked by the Dragon Witch. Preceding its final breath, it placed a curse on the two, forcing Virgil to sing his every word and Roman to never sing again. The only way to break the curse is with true love's first kiss, and it will become worse after one week, whatever that may mean.

The Sides are willing to do anything to break the curse within a week, but what will they discover on their desperate search? A disembodied voice haunts Patton, declining logical abilities face Logan, Virgil and Roman's troubled history resurfaces, and a dark figure lurks in the shadows. As everything begins to unwind, it seems that nothing is as it once was.

Soon, the Sides will be forced to accept that this is something far more sinister and complex than they ever could have imagined. Who is behind all of this? Are there only four Sides? How much farther than a little fairytale curse will this horrific escapade go?

♥ C O M P L E T E D ♥ * Written long, long before Deceit's name reveal! Please bear with me. I would love to change each of the names but there are simply too many chapters and I have written too many books, and I already need to change the name in nearly finished drafts of mine since they'll be published later than the reveal. ⚠️ WARNING: Contains EXTREMELY dark themes such as death, self harm, suicide, violence, toxic relationships, etc. Stay safe! ⚠️ NOTE: Don't read the bonus chapters before finishing the actual story there are spOILERS Imagine reading a book of every conversation where people have spoken about you. You see, everyone in the mind has a special item. Logan has special glasses that can let him see through walls. Roman has a sword with engravings of roses that allow him to sense any danger near him. Patton has a heart pin that he can tap and he can become invisible. But Virgil? He has the worst item. It's a book. A book filled with every single conversation anyone's had about him. Nobody knows about his item, because he hides in in fear of that, if anyone finds out what it does, they'll fake everything they say about him and begin to avoid him completely. The book is filled with things he'd rather not read, but he can't help himself from rereading and rereading and rereading, as the book gets thicker and thicker. ♥ Highest Ranks ♥ #1 in Prinxiety #1 in Logicality #1 in Thomassanders #129 in Fanfiction

The War for the Mind

56 parts Complete Mature

"All is fair in love and war, dear, and this is both." There's no nice way of saying it: this is a war, and it is far from over. The glimmers of happiness and hope that wafted through the Mind during the last period of peace are nonexistent, replaced by fear and despair. The Sides are being forced to accept two things: one, they have no choice but to fight this war, and two, they may not be victorious or alive by the end of this. Camille is forced to give in to the dark figure, Roman crumbles under the weight of his guilt, Patton might not make it through all the heartbreak, and four new victims have just been dragged on to the frontlines. Who has the dark figure been working for? Will it be the physical or mental battles that take down the Sides? Will their long-standing questions be answered at last? How much will they sacrifice to save the Mind and themselves? ~Book three in the Sanders Escapade series. ~Book one: The Dark Curses ~Book two: The Fight For Love ~Book four/stand-alone: Fire and Ashes
