Book 3 of 3 in the Barron Series

When we last saw Sabrina, she and her rag-tag team of twenty-something friends banded together to restore her powers and her memories. After destroying the abandoned Aldinonian, Astaroth, peace was brought back to her home dimension. Entrusting the world's future to her brothers, she left for Earth to pursue a mortal human life. Eight years later, Sabrina won.

She had adopted a young girl by the name of Mykayla, a now twelve-year-old. After just finishing her first year of middle school, Mykayla was living a peaceful life of playing video games, hanging out with friends, and bonding with her mom. She was energetic, bright, and excited to see what life had in store.

That was, until now. When a phone begins to ring with an unknown ID. What's suspected as a spam call, ends up being a lost voice Sabrina had almost forgotten. She is warned that war is coming, and she is the only way to stop it. Aldinon is once again grasping for straws to survive a war twice as bad as years previous.

With most of Aldinon's population following Ash into retirement, it's up to her and her friends to not only spring back into action themselves but also prepare and train the next generation of child warriors to fight not only for their lives but for the sake of every living thing in the universe.

Azira's whole world consisted of being a hero. The daughter of the Dynamic Duo, she was destined to fulfill her role as the dutiful daughter in the Heroes Academy. A world where those with superhuman powers are taught to wield their powers for good and change the world. That is until a villain named Scar enters her life and changes her whole perspective on what it truly means to be the good guy. Scar loves her. And knows she loves him-she just doesn't know that yet herself. But she's about to find out. ~Excerpt~ "Why me?" I asked exasperatedly. "You do all of this for me, and why? For what reason?" "That's where you're still wrong, honey," he said darkly. "I'm not doing this for you. I'm doing this for me. I wanted you, so now you're mine-that's all there is to it. And by being mine, if someone hurts you, they're hurting me. And I am not one to take that disrespect lightly. Do you understand me?" "No." "You will." He knelt next to me, his face hovering over mine, his arms on either side of the machine, caging me beneath his upper body. "I will ruin you-I'll fit you to my mold; I'll take that goody-two-shoes girl you are, and turn her into a force to be reckoned with. One that's mine." I quivered. "All mine." "I..." His proximity had me beyond nervous. My throat constricted as I tried to regain my composure. "Will never be yours." He laughed, his hand caressing my cheek. "You and I both know you already are." *Enemies to lovers (mildly) dark romance* PUBLISHING ALSO ON ROYAL ROAD AS LEELEEACE1

"Three weeks. That's how long I got to have drama-free. I'm not sure what is happening to me or to Oakwood. Nothing's the same since I rolled into town and it just keeps getting weirder. Suspicious agents in suits roam the streets without an explanation. They're staring straight at me. The new Chemistry teacher is NOT who he says he is. I'm doing things I never thought I could. Like, mutant-level things... Lauren, Luc's dead twin sister, hid something from everyone. Something important that may have lead to her demise and that could lead to ours. Hunters are in town. I never knew four words could contain so much dread and terror. I'd rather deal with the Wanderers. I'm on the brink of a breakdown. I need help..." BOOK #2 IN THE SERIES! Ignorance is not bliss... In the wake of ridding Oakwood of Wanderers, other dangers come creeping in and they're somehow linked to Luc's absent twin. The past returns to haunt the mutants in inconspicuous ways. Riley's life is yet again in jeopardy, but this time she's not alone. Luc and his family are all thrown into the teetering balance. More secrets are uncovered. A trap dawns on them all. Invisible threats start crawling from all directions. Who is the real enemy? TW : behaviours of depression and PTSD are displayed. I don't name them, but one of the character will be struggling a lot. It may not be suitable for everybody. Other adult matters are briefly included, but nothing explicit or intense. Rewriting specifications : the main points of the story and end of the book will remain the same, am just going to change a few ways of getting there and adding some extra spice. Feel free to pause the read until the REWRITING sign disappears.
