Lithium Aurora Acosta is a seventeen-year-old girl who suffers from and ADHD. She doesn't consider herself smart, she can't keep still for a second, she absolutely hates school, and she most certainly can't keep her mouth shut. Not only that but she's been labeled "The Outcast" and "Misfit" which has rendered her friendless for as long as she can remember. Aurora has gone all middle school, freshman, sophomore, and junior years friendless so she doubts she's going to make any friends her senior year.
That is until a new student strolls in the main office almost midway through the year. His face screams I-don't-give-a-shit and his temper resembles that of a pregnant woman.
She got more than she could ever ask for.

She almost immediately discovers that her new apartment shares a wall with a noisy musician next door, a less than ideal situation. Aurora is faced with the question of what's worse, the sounds of his music through the walls all hours of the night, or her thoughts when it's finally silent? Wilbur, a 25 year old online content creator, is faced with two dilemmas. One, he has already seemed to be a nuisance to his new neighbor. And two, he fell head over heels for a random American girl in his local grocery store without as much as asking for her name. He feels haunted by the stranger, constantly finding pieces of her scattered through his day to day life.
