Saving Grace - A Love Story

"Oh princess" he says then starts walking up to me. He grabs me tight in his strong arms and hugs me, not caring that I'm soaking wet
"Who did this to you?" He says looking at my bruised and cut up face.
"No o-one I j-just fell" I mumbled out trying to seem confident, but it came out weak.
"please don't lie to me, kitten"
"I-I" I don't know what to say.
"It's ok sweetheart, calm down. Does this happen at home?" I nodded not speaking in fear my voice would crack. I tear rolling down my face.
"Did you do that to yourself?" He said pointing to my cuts. Once again I nodded.
"It's okay grace, we are going to get through this" he spoke softly.

She hides herself because she is severely depressed and self harming, she is being abused at home and nobody notices or pays interest until a new kid Xavier shows up and tries to help her.
