Maya Ryan never imagined loosing someone she loved. When she looses her brother, Beau, in a fatal drunk driving accident, she is struggling to cope. Her struggle is paused when Beau appears to her in a dream trying to tell her that he's stuck in an alternate reality. She thinks she's going crazy at first, but something feels true. Is there actually such thing as alternate realities? Is Beau actually alive somewhere out there? ((So this story was actually originally written to be a short story for my creative writing class, but I liked the idea so much that I actually want to continue it! Because of this fact, I'm just putting an fyi here. The first chapter might feel rushed, but that's because I'm literally posting my short story as the first chapter. I don't wanna spend time re-writing it to be tailored into individual chapters so I'm just gonna post what I have so far as one whole chapter. So yeah, I hope you enjoy it, and I hope it doesn't feel wonky and rushed.))

Who was this boy who kept appearing in Chloe's dreams? Obviously he was just a figment of her imagination. Even if these dreams were extremely realistic. There is no way these dreams could be real right? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ "Isn't it obvious? It's magic." He takes my hand. "And with magic, anything is possible." He said this so genuinely, with so much sincerity in his tone, it was as if he actually believed it. "But magic isn't real." I reply back, frowning.Magic was something out of a fairytale, made to give children false hope. "It is!" He insists. I roll my eyes. "It is not." I retort. I crossed my arms. He sighs. "Whatever you say.'' ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I made this a while back but I decided to publish it in case anyone wants to read it. I know the plot is kinda all over the place so just bear with me lol. Completed Cover made using canva template :))
