A story of two brothers who have nothing in life but each other. The story is told through the main character, Joel, as he recalls events from his childhood and how he and his brother, Blake, escaped the nightmare of their Mother's drug fuelled abuse.

After escaping their abusive home and life of neglect Blake takes on the role of a parent and supports his younger brother through High School but as Joel tries to keep moving forward his past begins to hold him back.

As Joel loses focus on his future he resorts to deceitful and aggressive behaviour that begins to put a strain on the brothers close relationship. Blake tries desperately to keep his brother from going down a self destructive path as they both struggle to deal with the demons of their past but will it prove to be an impossible task?
