Bruce's world fell apart and burned at his feet as he watched Gotham be destroyed. Everyone he loved and cared for was gone. Burned away by the fire that burned Gotham down. Joker had done this. Joker had taken everything from him. No not everything. He hadn't taken Clark and he never would. Nobody would take his angel away. He would make sure of it.

The Joker had broken something in Bruce the day he destroyed Gotham. The Batman had changed. His one rule forgotten and thrown away. Now with only Clark left Bruce would do anything to protect Clark and if that meant killing and forcing a dictatorship over Earth then so be it. Anything for Clark.

Clark watched Bruce change and he changed with him. He never wanted that haunted look to ever grace Bruce's face again. He would protect Bruce just like how Bruce protected him. He would make sure nobody hurt Bruce and if that meant killing those opposing Bruce and his order then so be it. Anything for Bruce.

Growing up in chaos isn't simple for all. Not many could cope. They would struggle and kick, but ultimately drown. However, for Dakota, that was his normality. Torturing. Maiming. Killing. That was his life, the life of a hunter. The Arizona line was elusive, written fame in the lore of hunters, and infamy for their prey. They were the best. No one could ever compare to their skills, their abilities, their ruthlessness. But Dakota was something else. His siblings might have learnt to enjoy the hunt, well most of them anyway, but Dakota didn't. There was always something missing for him, something he was waiting on. Silent and everlasting hope. A promise had been made to him, the day his twin brother was stolen, taken by the enemy, plucked right from the very home the Arizonas had grown up in. A promise of something better, something that he might actually want in his life. Now, almost sixteen years later, something was coming. A change was begging to be found. Maybe it would be for the best. Maybe Dakota would finally find that certain something that had been missing his whole life, something to fill the dark and fractured abyss that ached and wailed within. But nothing was ever that simple. Because, of course, the promise that had been made to Dakota would never be anything plausible for him, anything tangible to have and to hold. He had been promised a new life, by the greatest enemy of them all. It wouldn't be easy. Not with his family still clinging to his heels, the teachings of blood and violence burnt into his mind. No, leaving them behind wouldn't ever be easy. Then again, staying with them would only bring his inevitable death. Why not take the chance to die happy? After all, out of the ashes, a phoenix will rise...

Xavier thought that he had nothing. His mother and father beat him constantly, not to mention all the people at school. Xavier was a loner and he was hated. But he had a secret. One that could kill him and another that broke him. With a brother that wants to take from his broken home, a gang member that knows one of his secrets and another that likes him a bit more than a friend, what could go wrong? Isaiah wasn't someone to mess with. He had tattoos all over him, wore the typical leather jacket, and drove a motorcycle. He was the stereotypical bad boy. But he wasn't as hard as his exterior portrayed him. He life wasn't great. His life was falling apart. Sure they didn't have much money, but was that a reason to fight constantly and drag him into their verbal battles? There was a reason that he acted the way he does: he was broken. What happens when two broken people meet up and learn that there is more to life than just hurt? Will they repair or will they shatter? **SLOW UPDATES** **THIS IS BOYXBOY!! DON'T LIKE, DON'T READ.
