In the early 1900s, we have (Y/n) (L/n), a girl only ordinary to the era, having to act ladylike while dealing with her two trying siblings and the dread that comes with her near coming-of-age.

A carnival has come, along with madness and distortions.

She meets a handful of new people, each more interesting than the people she usually sees. She has a dislike for normality, but are the eccentricities of the world always a good thing? Is it weird and isolated for a reason that no one at the top of their head can explain?

Will (Y/n)'s curiosities be the reason for tragedy, or ever-lasting love? Is it the key to both?
