If there was one thing Patrick Stump hated above all else, it was trains. Even more so than the holiday season, or the idea of falling in love.
If there was one thing Gerard Way loved above all else, it was trains. Even more so than the holiday season, or the idea of falling in love.
What will happen when fate brings the two polar opposites together on a busy train travelling across the country on the week before Christmas?

This is a story done in the style of a Hallmark Christmas movie, so be prepared for a jumble of holiday clichés and romantic comedy tropes. This is probably the happiest, fluffiest story I'll ever write, so enjoy at your own risk!

Pete is just a simple guy trapped in his own mind and constantly threatened by his own insecurities. Caged by the ordinary boredom of being a barista in a small town in the middle of fucking nowhere, things didn't look to good for him. Not until he met Patrick of whom he is convinced to be a literal angel. In the actual hell of annoying coworkers, alcoholic-friends, crowded parties, and intrusive thoughts the greatest light to ever find, could only be your personal angelic guardian. But how much can a hypothetical ethereal being make up for the damaged mind of one man? How do you cope with loving angels, lending shoulders to lost friends and contemplating the apparent healing power of time? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ T/W: Topics like suicide, overdosing, alcoholism, trauma and general self hatred will be talked about or acted upon during several occasions in this story, so read with an open mind! started: 17th of february 2018 finished: 22nd of march 2020
