1 million years into the future, humanity has ceased to advance in technology and any they used to have is lost in the distant memories of years before.
The Gods have punished the humans for starting a war and banished all water far under the land resulting in humans migrating to the snow capped mountains of the world, in hopes of survival. Now, a group of children have been sent out by their parents and the other adults who yearn for recognition as being the saviours of the human race.
However the object they are looking for to restore the lost water is closer than they first thought.

Plot: An international crew of scientists board a large state-of -the art oceanographic vessel privately funded by an anonymous source.
