Over a two hundred years ago in a country far away a girl named Clara found her prince in another land before returning to his own. Now in the present his great, great, great grandson, the only son of an only son of an only daughter has come under the same curse.

Y/n Clara Petrio has a difficult life. Her best friend has moved, her title brother is set to inherit her father's business and her mother died last Christmas. All she has is the lead role in the ballet production of the Nutcracker. But when her uncle Droslmier shows up for one of her rehearsals and gifts her a nutcracker a journey will begin. 

But she knows this story and when the mistreated brother of the fearsome rat king offers his services her heart will be torn in two. Between a fallen prince and a fairy tail.
