Avery isn't your normal 18 year old. She's a senoir, the schools "bad*ss" loner, but also best friends with the school's running back, Micky. Avery lives with her step dad and half brother who love her, even after her mother passed away eight years ago. But there Is a family secret, and her mom left her in the dark. Jace is the soon to be alpha of his pack and he is also a senior in high school as a 19 year old, being that he was held back. The Legend of the Original Alphas that once ruled the werewolves is one feared by all werewolves of the modern world. But many, like Jace, feel assured that the Original Alphas are long gone. But what will happen after Jace, the school's most popular guy, finds his mate is not only an anti-socialist, but also has a family that could cause fear to rise from every werewolf alive.
