When the lab housing experimental shapeshifter Sang Sorenson burns down, the bird has no qualms with spreading her wings and flying away. In fact, she had been dreaming of it for years, getting away from her family's cruel hands. Not only did she save herself, however, but she pulled Tobi- her younger brother- from the wreckage too. 

Adjusting to the outside world wasn't as hard as they thought it would be. In fact, with Tobi's condition, they still lived much the same way. Like animals.

Not even a full year after they escaped, however, Tobi goes missing. One thing led to another, and next thing Sang knows, she's stuck pretending to be some doctor/spy's adorable kitten...
