I was twelve when everything started to feel wrong. By eighteen, I barely recognized myself. It's not how I wanted things to go, but it's how they went, and now I'm trying to make sense of it all.

I've gone through nothing but hell these last four years. Being treated like an outsider because Brayden, the school's most popular boy... He chose me! I couldn't believe it! But I played it off like I didnt feel the same for four years. He liked me from middle school to sophomore year. By the time I sent him the letter I was always too scared to send, he had a girlfriend nobody knew about and... As you probably guessed... He didn't want me anymore.

At the start of our friendship, we were great friends, close enough to be best friends or a family. That was when we got to high school, everything changed. She would usually treat me differently and not a good different or most of the time, mess with my head, and confused me. I still wonder, why do I still love her?

I was just a girl. The girl who was bullied and picked on for being small and mute. I didn't think I would become what I was now. I didn't even know how I became this way. I was just the girl who never knew.

Who knew running away from girls would be so difficult ? It's almost impossible when you're in a school mostly made up of girls . "I'm not making friends with any girl at all or even talk to them . I don't want to risk falling in love again" . I could feel my heart trying to tell me something that I did not understand . My heart was saying something and whatever it was saying was going to change something in my life . Something special about this new friend and I have no idea what.

After Clara's parents move to a different country and let her grandfather look after her, he passes away and she is forced to go to a boarding school. At the age of sixteen, she realizes that her grandfather has been hiding a big secret from her. Will she be able to uncover it and who will help her in this complicated case? Despite everything, she won't be alone on this journey. Clara will have the help of her new friends, who also have their secrets to hide.
