Lance, a recently of-age young adult college thespian, is a busy person. After scoring a role in one of the school's major plays, Lance is determined to become the best actor to grace the stage. But when he receives a letter from the city, forcing him to serve jury duty, the role (as well as his pride) is taken away from him.
Everything about it is stupid. The courtroom is boring, there's no music, and no one's allowed to even talk!
But... someone forgot to tell him how attractive the accused is.

Sometimes people are a lot different then you think. The first minute Lance steps into his new school he's warned about Keith Kogane. They say he's like the devil, the meanest guy you will ever meet. You better stay away from him otherwise you could get on his bad side, and then your life is over. Lance isn't the guy to judge people just because people talk about that person. But they seem to be right, as a moment later Keith throws a freshman on the ground for speaking to him. That is a sign for Lance to never even look at this guy.
