Aria is the type of girl who studies hard, and hides in corners in the dangerous hallways of high school. She is also the daughter of the richest man in the North American Continent. A man who built his fame and bank account on the backs of others. A tyrant. Aria has grown up with only one friend she can trust, her mom. And now with her mom on her deathbed, Aria feels lost. The banquets and parties of high class life just bring her spirits down more.

Until she meets William. He is not the man of her dreams. The man of her dreams is a hard worker, not a rich playboy. But somehow Aria is drawn to William, and Aria, overtime, falls in love.

But secrets lurk in her past. That is, her father's past. Aria must find a way to overcome the hatred of the Pikes, a gang out to get Aria and her family (mainly her father). Aria must also find a way to survive the hallways of high school, and her life in general. Can she do it? Or will she fall...into the background?
