According to the seventies, it's wrong to be gay. According to the seventies, it's wrong to be in an interracial relationship. According to Sirius Black and Remus Lupin however, none of that matters. They met at a concert by chance in 1978, and slowly fell for one another. But an accident happened, and a betrayal, that left Sirius alone in the world. Now, nearly forty years later, Sirius is writing about the best four years of his life, remembering all that he loved, and all that he lost. Most importantly however, he's remembering, with a bitter taste in his mouth, what brought about the downfall of the best times of his life.
