"Here at Smith Institute, no patient ever leaves..." Angelica, and her two brothers Mac and Ethan, had a fabulous life, until Mac suddenly dies from suicide. The question is: What caused him to drive to suicide? My family and I are now worried, keeping some secrets from me I shouldn't know. But this was just the beginning. Although the next day, I woke up in a hospital. I didn't know where I was, but my brother Ethan was there also, looking quiet scared of something or someone. I also discover some stuff about this hospital and where it came from, and I also met some new friends- Bree, Lily, Diana, Nick, David, and Miracle. But they all had a secret they kept from me. And I plan to find out what. But that isn't the only thing that's going on with this family- Since Mac died, his charm bracelet went missing, My father has to go to work day and night, and sometimes, he never returns. And my mother is now suspecting the government for who knows what?? And on top of that: no patient ever leaves!! And I have to find all about this. At least it's a hospital with nice and kind people... Or is the people friendly at all??? ( reminder: There is only Angelica's POV in this story, but in book 2, there will be two POV- Angelica's and Ethan's.)

Have you ever felt so unimaginably lonely? Ever wanted to end your life because things have gotten so unbelievably horrible? Parents misunderstanding you? Pressure too much amongst your daily stresses? Do not fret, just walk to the back alley behind Maple View Memorial Hospital. Walk down the creaking metal steps, knock a few times on the wooden door and the doctor will handle the rest. These were some of the things Elliot heard being whispered at the weekly depression seminars. They were dying for a way out, a way out of life. A way that didn't involve hanging in the kitchen before the movers showed up. With mom and dad dead from a car crash a few weeks prior, and zero friends to acknowledge their absence, Elliot decides to visit the doctor. But is it more than what they bargained for?
