Thing can't get any more tense or so Derek thinks. When an unfortunate event puts Stiles in danger Derek blames himself and shuts Stiles out completely, allowing room for Derek's twin brother.

Derek is at a convention, no, THE convention. The convention that Alphas meet at twice a year, every year, to pick their omega. Derek is a very well known Alpha. He's strong, has good ancestors, and has gone through lots of omega training. He knows what he's doing and everyone else knows that as well. in this story Derek's family are still alive, so is stiles mum, scott had been bitten by a rogue alpha and derek has been secretly helping them try and capture this alpha thats beens causing havoc in their little town of beacon hills after finding the 2 in the beacon hills preserve the day after scott was bitten, in retern of helping derek find the alpha derek was helping scott with his shifting. Derek is also a new teacher at the school, and for some reason he ends up likig this annoying kid that uses sarcasm and a baseball bat as his defence, and often finds himself protecting Stiles from most of the danger that is happening in beacon hills
