Monochrome (Angst One Shots)

Love is much like a House of Cards.

Slowly, it is built with trust, with care, with determination as content holds it together: content with what you have, what you built. Patience is a must, of course, and effort as well. The effort of giving it it time and attention, and protecting it with all your heart, your mind and your soul.

But when gusts of jelousy passes by, and the trust you once had was lost, when neglience controls you like a marionette, when addiction holds you in it's hands, when efforts die, the house you built with all your being crashes, burns down to the ground.

All that's left is an incomplete deck, a fallen kingdom abandoned by it's King and Queen, broken hearts and dreams no longer to come true.

And then you'll realize:

The sun died, the roses wilted and colors have vanished: everything's monochrome.
