Elizabeth Rhinehart Garrison, who was sent into the past against her will, has settled into 1870s Wyoming with her rancher husband and adorable stepson. But when she is forced to timeslip back to present-day Chicago, can she get back to the Old West life that she chose? Or will she, like her husband, decide she has a few scores to settle first?
This is an IN PROGRESS work, and 4th book in a series.
As of AUGUST 2019, I have decided to seriously revamp this, especially the part of the story that is set in modern-day Chicago. I'm probably doing away with the "sending homeless people back in time to hunt them" plot, which just isn't me. More important, I need to give Lillabit back some of her sense of fun from previous works (my own issues with depression have colored some of her decisions, or lack thereof). My apologies to any of you who got invested in that version! I've kept your comments, in case they vanish with the ditched chapters.
Consider it a chance to see how a multi-published author (I've also published/won awards as Evelyn Vaughn) creates her raw material. COMMENTS ARE SO VERY WELCOME, and the fuel that keeps me going!

**I'm new to the Cry-Baby world and have only watched it once.... well twice since I'll be watching it as I write this story but I've been reading some Johnny Depp One shots.... which is how I was "introduced" to Cry-Baby an it "put me in the mood" to try my hand at writing a Cry-Baby story and this is it I'm sorry if I get anything wrong and/or people seem out of character** Cadence Clearwater who was named after her uncle Creedence was best friends with "Crybaby" Wade Walker and Mona "Hatchet-Face" Malnorowski when she was a child she was forced to move out of Baltimore when her father decided to move his family when she was 10 years old but she made a promise to Wade in a letter which said once she was old enough to live on her own she'd come back home to him and she keeps her promise after she graduates from school at the age of 18 but she isn't alone for she had adopted her 5 year old brother and sister to keep them away from their abusive father after their mother died the only issue is when she comes back Wade doesn't seem to remember her Mona does though Wade and Cadence remeet when she walks into a Candy Store looking for a job then again at Turkey Point where she "saves" him from Lenora Frigid by kissing him in front of her and saying he's "her man" it's a instant attraction for Wade but what about Cadence!? will she let him steal her heart like she let him have her first kiss!? what about Allison!? what sort or relationship will Wade have with the "Square" girl who instantly fell for him and his one lonely tear!?Complete
What Lies in Lisa Lake
Returning since my departure in the book I wrote called Dev-Devine Intervention. Driving Across country from Oxnard, California to Middletown, Pennsylvania in my 1995 ford explorer. Coming full circle since leaving in the traumatic fashion. I would return to battle the demons I left a year prior. In fact a lot would change in a course of a year. My return would send shock waves through the community as my ex would transition into a female half assed since my departure. Leaching on his new host of convenience. I would start to rebuild my life by living in my car before getting a supervisor position with Sheetz. Along the way fate and rekindling friendship would bring me back to Lisa Lake. Juggling the heavy demand of my job that would work me 9pm-7:30am most days; the yelling that would affect my sleep. A visit at the Hershey Medical Center would result in a trust fall onto the concrete surface below. Partially unconscious I would get tossed around like a pizza from machine to machine. Head injury that would result in my inability to return to work and subsequently let go of my position. A turn of my luck I decided to refocus my purpose in earning my keep in where I am living. Accommodating the elderly couple and making their lives better in order to restore peace in the household. However, the dark truth is unraveling the scam behind the abuse of a 70 year old woman. How she was trapped in a marriage of convenience for her husband; The abuse that she was suffering from and how people with a hidden agenda took advantage of her with the help of her foolish husband. Understanding how it took my hard work to save her from the hell of her husband's creation. Eliminating the leaches one by one.
