Maayos ang pamumuhay ng isang Art Rios, salamat sa kaniyang mga magulang. Ngunit nagbago ang takbo ng buhay niya nang dahil sa isang tawag mula sa pulisya, sinasabing na-aksidente ang kaniyang mga magulang. Namatay ang kaniyang ama habang nasa kritikal na sitwasyon naman ang kaniyang Ina. Ang masaganang buhay na kinagisnan niya ay bigla na lamang unti unting nag laho na parang bula.

Isang araw, inirekomenda siya ng isa sa kanyang mga instructor para magtrabaho sa kumpaniyang tinatawag na Connexius International, na gumawa ng isang anunsyo ng paggawa ng kasaysayan dahil sa kanilang pinakabagong imbensyon sa larangan ng teknolohiya. Sinusundan ng kwentong ito si Art sa kanyang paglalakbay upang umangkop sa isang bagong pag-unlad ng isang Virtual Reality game.
