Everyone thinks they know me, but they really don't. They know the part of me that I let them see. Too much has happened to me, and if anyone knows who I really am, they'd be terrified of me. If they knew who my father is, and if they knew the stories, I probably wouldn't survive. I used to think that I was Joelle Leigh Buchanan, but that's not me. I'm so much more than a shy, ordinary teenage girl......And I'm so much more dangerous than that. 

So much has happened since I was taken by them, but my story begins later, in the present. When I am given my first mission- To kill my father. I know who he is, but I can't remember anything about him. I know who he's there, that he's part of me....... But I can't find him, and I know I have to. I know he's somewhere in my memory...... I just don't know exactly where.
