Jane everlasting has been running for most of her life. Just when she thought things couldn't get worse the person or Thing she's running from finds her, killing her mother in the process. Having no other living relatives shes forced to live on her own.
After meeting friends and having them be killed and made murders look like suicide, ever piece of Jane slowly becomes stone and dies.
Killing Jane and eating away at her heart. After about the 10th time she completely cuts herself off from society. Knowing she no one can save her and just as she's about to lose all hope to be saved she meets a mysterious man and slowly falls in love.
What she doesn't know is how he is still alive after being friends for over two years and with him pushing to be more than friends, she's scared to get attached just to lose him like everyone else she's been close to.
But maybe the thing gave up and left her alone? All she can do is hope and pray it doesn't come back to haunt her again.
But with the past she's wanted to leave behind for years now, what happens when he finds out and spills a big secret that could kill Jane?
