It is in the future Tokyo. Ame is someone who always wears dark hoodies and has an icy cold personality. Amethyst is genius, always getting the best score on the national exams, and has a bright personality. These people are really different, right? Wrong, they are one in the same. Ame created Amethyst so she would stay out of the limelight for unknown reasons.

She thought she could live life without trusting anyone ever again, after she was abandoned at six. But, one certain crimson eyed boy crashes into her life and introduces her to the underground community of psys, those with a natural power. Ame soon learns that she can't keep her lives separate anymore, and she can't keep up her emotionless mask around his red eyes. She dives further into her past, learning the truth behind her abandonment. But through it all, will she be able to trust again?

(A/N the setting seems like the one from the book extras by Scott Westerfeld, because i originally got the idea from it, but the plot is completely different and the Japanese used in the book is different.)
