Have you ever met someone who alters the course of your life? For good or for bad, they've come in, given and taken, and then- BOOM! Your life was never the same. There's always a change, an altering of reality. When you meet those people, the reality that you've known your whole life is suddenly gone and a new one has taken its place. When those moments happen, there's no going back. You can try to return to the way things were but nothing, and I mean nothing, can take you back to exactly how it was. That's what happened to us. I think that's why we're still trying so desperately to get back to some sort of normalcy. Four years later and we're still on the ground, crawling, in search of the happiness that was lost that June. Summers will never be the same. Midnight walks through my neighborhood will never be the same. Field parties with bonfires and loud music will never be the same. I still don't know why you left and what lead you to the decision you made. What I do know is that we're here. We're alive and we're pushing forward to the future. A future that you're not a part of. But in some ways, I'm glad you're not a part of it. I just wish it wasn't like this. *** TRIGGER WARNING*** SA, abuse, suicide, substance abuse, and mental illness. This is a complete story that is much like life; fast, full of surprises, and not always how we want it to be. This has been a project of mine for over three years. It was self-published on Amazon, but after some issues in publication, I decided to just upload it on here. I hope you fall in love with these characters like I have. The friends in this story are trying to make names for themselves, figure out who they are, who they can trust, how to love, and how to separate themselves from a restrictive community. As in any coming of age story, they will experience growing pains... but will they survive them before its too late? PLEASE READ THE TRIGGER WARNINGS.

‼️RATED MATURE FOR MENTIONS OF ABUSE‼️ "You are honestly all I've ever had and I just don't want to lose you." He was a boy who had taken too much jobs but speaks too little about himself. She was a girl who had wandered too much but left too little hope for her future. Their worlds collide one day when misfortune chases the both of them into a common corner, and from then on, both their fates refused to part ways. But as unfortunate as they both may be, their misfortune might just be what leads them to their luckiest charms.

In past, I was cheerful, positive, full of love and joy, until my father destroyed everything, took everything from me, turned me into a cold, heartless, and wrathful, no more happiness in my life. Until I finally met her again, my old friend and also my first love, my world was so beautiful with her, everything was perfect with her. All the beautiful memories I've been through with her for a long time... it crossed my mind, at the moment I looked into her eyes. But there was nothing I could do, I just pretended not to remember her, didn't know her, and it broke me. I want to hug her, I want to kiss her, I want to make her happy, but I can't. I can't keep my promise to her, my promise to always be by her side, I've broken it, the fact that I abandoned her. And I was so surprised after hearing she had an accident, which made her to lose her memory, and it was all because of me, that I had put her through it, that I had made her suffer. It would have been better if it had been me, not her, all my fault, all this because of my selfishness and my stupidity. She deserves happiness, she deserves someone who much better than me, who's capable of making her happier, not me, because I'm just giving her misery.

She doesn't simply cry when she's upset or disappointed, nor does she just smile all day when she finally get to grab that tiny bit of hope. It would be hard for her to talk about love just as simply as bringing up a favorite song, nor would it be easy to talk about a heartbreak. She couldn't just talk about the things that she misses, or even the things that she admires about life. She'd think to herself that what she has shown is only a mere facade of what she truly felt. So for every tear, every smile, every lonesome time, and every hope and fear, she wrote it all out. ::Began publishing on 2023::

She didn't say anything but took off her ring and gave it on his hand. He nodded and pulled out the documents but she didn't let it go. "Don't even bother hesitating. This story is a complete work of fiction, constructed on a basic ideology of perfection. It serves the sole purpose of telling people that imperfection is perfect in itself, you just learn to accept and stop rejecting everything good that comes your way just because you think, it is not perfect. And also conveying along, that no matter you're where, at the peak or the crest, your parents will always love you and be with you. Hopefully, my readers will get this.
