A dark, metal room sat in the deep underground, the titanium door shutting itself, releasing a large and hard bang which echoed throughout the room. A machine sat at the very end of the room, opposite the metallic door, containing two humans, although their appearances were covered by the glass cylinders which encased them, showing only their shadowy outlines.
"You sure about this?" A voice asked, sounding as if a child had spoken it. Multiple tubes connected the capsules to each other, one of the tubes being used for communication between the two subjects.
"Of course I am! It's what we signed up for, after all!" Another voice shouted, replying to the first. The voice sounded more playful and excited compared to the male's, and belonged to a female.
"Well then, don't you blush when I stare at you once we're out of here. We're naked, if you can even remember that." The male replied, the female letting out some slight grumbles before staying quiet.
"Anyways... Night. See you in 2000 years."
"You too. Night."
And with that, the two subjects succumbed to sleep, the cylinders that contained them beginning to freeze their unconscious bodies. Unfortunately, nothing would prepare them for what was going to come.
What the world was going to have. A great disaster awaited them on the other side, but the thing is...
Can you, our dearest player, help them out?
~Enjoy your new adventure, player.~

"We need to wait for the rest of the team to get here. Just because we opened up the lab doesn't mean we can start opening up the artifact." Jeremy chuckled and wrapped his arms around Melissa. "In a few hours, they'll get here, and we can do that. Until then, let's hold off."
She gave him an annoyed look. "Fine. But the second they're here, we're cracking open this piñata." She leaned her head back to rest against his shoulder.
Jeremy tilted her face and kissed her softly. They both smiled and looked back at the artifact before them. Enjoying the sensation of Melissa's fingers gently running along his arms, he studied the sarcophagus. This was an odd piece, but something different was bound to resurface eventually. Sifting over the etchings, he tried to make sense of the story upon the stone. The smile left his face. "Those shouldn't be there."
